Job summary

Huron is seeking an Incident Response Coordinator to lead end-to-end incident investigations, coordinate across Legal, HR, IT and Global Security, and maintain incident response playbooks. You will communicate status to executives and keep stakeholders aligned during high-pressure events.

Responsibilities include triage, escalation, and cross-functional communication while ensuring timely closure of all action items.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in incident response, security operations, GRC, or a related security coordination role.
• Experience coordinating investigations or incidents with multiple stakeholders and teams.
• Undergraduate degree in Information Security, IT, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central coordinator for security and data incidents, driving investigations from detection through resolution.
• Coordinate with investigators, forensics, IT, DLP, Legal, HR, and business stakeholders to keep incidents moving.
• Provide timely status updates and executive briefings for leadership.
• Own the incident tracking system and ensure every action item is tracked to closure.
• Refine incident response playbooks, processes, and procedures.
• Produce metrics and reporting for leadership to monitor open, closed, and trending incidents.
