Job summary

Peloton is seeking a Security Engineer to evolve detections, automate SOC workflows, and drive threat intelligence across its cloud and on-premises environments. You will build homegrown tooling and contribute to a scalable security program.

The role emphasizes incident response, threat hunting, and implementing AI-assisted development to accelerate detections. Hybrid work at our NYC HQ is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Information Security.
• Experience in incident response or threat detection; cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes) or IAM.
• Experience with Automation for Alert Intake/Triage/Incident Handling.
• Expert experience with SIEM tools or data lakes.
• Experience with dissecting attacker methodologies and techniques and/or EDR tooling.

Responsibilities

• Directly support Peloton’s Security Program while conducting in-depth research and strategic analysis of intelligence data for threat hunting.
• Stay up to date with vulnerabilities, threat actors, IOCs, TTPs, and trends; identify actionable threats.
• Provide intel-driven insights and search Peloton enterprise for anomalous or malicious activity.
• Collaborate with Security Engineering and SOC to baseline user behaviors and build detections and response workflows.
• Provide triage support for incident response and investigation efforts.
• Recommend and build countermeasures based on threat analysis and forecasting.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security incident playbooks/runbooks.
• Present findings and recommendations to managers and leadership.
