Pouring With Heart is seeking a Security Host to work the door at BAR CDMX, Los Angeles. You will create a safe, welcoming environment and be the first and last impression for guests and staff.

Key duties include greeting guests, verifying IDs, monitoring for safety, supporting team, de-escalation, crowd flow, reporting incidents, and complying with health, safety and alcohol service standards. 21+ with valid guard certs may be required depending on state.

Qualifications

• 3+ years security/guest services or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and professional composure.
• Ability to de-escalate conflicts with respect and clarity.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and teammates.
• Team-oriented with a balance of authority and hospitality.
• Must be 21+ and may require state-specific guard certifications.

Responsibilities

Pouring with Heart is currently looking for a new Security Host to work the door at BAR CDMX, Los Angeles. We are excited to find a new family member to help keep our crews and guests safe.

The role...

As a Security Host, you are responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. You represent the first and last impression of the bar, balancing professionalism and hospitality with the awareness and confidence needed to maintain order.

Main Duties, but are not limited to...

• Greet guests warmly and set the tone for a safe, welcoming environment
• Verify IDs accurately and manage guest entry in line with venue policies

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Ability to lift and move up to 200 pounds
• Fast-paced movements and mobility required to cover bar and floor space efficiently
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions as part of daily bar operations
