Pouring With Heart is seeking a Security Host to manage door entry and maintain a safe, welcoming environment at 4100 Bar, Los Angeles, CA. You are the first and last impression, balancing professionalism with hospitality while staying aware and confident to maintain order.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying IDs, monitoring safety, de-escalating conflicts, and supporting staff with clear communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security or hospitality preferred
• Strong situational awareness and professionalism under pressure
• Ability to de-escalate conflicts with patience and respect
• Must be 21+ and have valid security guard certifications if required (varies by state)

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and set a safe, welcoming tone
• Verify IDs and manage entry per venue policies
• Monitor floor and bar for safety concerns; escalate when needed
• Support staff and guests through conflict resolution and clear communication
• Use de-escalation techniques to manage situations calmly
• Assist with crowd flow, line management, and capacity control during peak hours
• Report incidents or hazards to leadership promptly
• Adhere to health, safety, and responsible alcohol-service standards
