Job summary

Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure is seeking a dedicated Security Attendant to safeguard guests and associates at the main security checkpoint and amenity entrances. You will manage identification verification, assist visitors, and maintain professional conduct with a strong emphasis on visibility and service.

The role involves routine patrols, emergency readiness, and accurate reporting, with schedules spanning daytime to late evening and weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Initiative and self-drive to improve performance.
• Good judgment when interacting with the public, coworkers, and leadership.
• Patience and empathy in public-facing situations.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or can be obtained on the job).
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for members, guests, contractors, and associates.
• Verify identities at the security checkpoint and issue appropriate credentials.
• Enforce policies consistently and fairly.
• Contact emergency services during emergencies as needed.
• Conduct patrols across property and assist with safety concerns.
• Perform essential computer tasks and maintain accurate reports.
• Document incidents with clear, grammatically correct reports.
• Conduct security checks of buildings and infrastructure.
