Allied Universal in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard for weekend overnight shifts. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and promptly report incidents to support a safe environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site policies, and emergency responses when needed.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns per site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintaining professional communication with staff and guests.
• Document incidents and patrols in accordance with Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and assigned areas while maintaining professional communication with employees, contractors, and guests.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.li>
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
