Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Overnight Part-Time in Gilbert, AZ. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, deter incidents with a visible presence, and provide professional customer service at a logistics site.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures and site policies, including emergency response when needed.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouses, parking areas, loading docks and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe movements of employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in reports and inform site management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
