Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard Unarmed Site Patrol in Brownsville, TX. This part-time role focuses on visible presence, customer service, and safeguarding clients across Manufacturing & Industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, document visitor and contractor entry, and direct traffic as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site procedures, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate patrol/incidents reports and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $10.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, document visitor and contractor entry, and assist with directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
