Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Response in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will respond to concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and the exterior perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
