Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required; a valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct access control activities, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Observe and report hazardous conditions, equipment concerns, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel while following applicable site policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
