What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a government maritime transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, waterfront-adjacent areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorizations as required, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Support traffic flow and vehicle-entry procedures in accordance with site policies, providing clear directions and professional assistance to authorized personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
