Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for an unarmed deterrence patrol at a technology and digital services location in Shepherdsville, KY. You will provide customer service, enforce site policies, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

The role requires prior security experience, a HS diploma, and eligibility for required licensing; schedule includes Saturdays and Sundays, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and digital services location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
