Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and document details for site contacts and emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior, entrances, exits, and perimeter points.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/employee/contractor entry per location protocols.
• Report maintenance concerns and follow post orders for security-related incidents.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help to verify visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with location protocols, including observing deliveries, escort requirements, and restricted area access.
• Support a professional environment within a technology-focused location by reporting maintenance concerns, observing equipment and asset areas for unusual conditions, and following post orders for security-related incidents and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
