Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Shepherdsville, KY. You will serve clients, maintain a visible presence, and support a technology-focused facility with professional, customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents calmly, document observations, and share details with site contacts
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility including offices and perimeter locations
• Monitor entrances and designated restricted areas to support authorized access and policy adherence
• Report hazards, equipment issues, and policy violations and deter unauthorized activity through visible presence

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control duties, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated restricted areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to location policies and procedures.
• Assist with reporting hazards, equipment issues, and policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and consistent patrol activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
