Qualifications

Responsibilities

As a Security Guard Unarmed Alarm Response in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Mon: 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM
• Tue: 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM
• Wed: 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM
• Thur: 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri: 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, credential verification, and traffic flow in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and promptly communicate incidents, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
