As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while contributing to a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM, Sun 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
