Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Minooka, IL. You will conduct unarmed patrols at a busy logistics site, deter security incidents, assist employees and visitors, and maintain a visible presence to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

The role requires clear communication, adherence to site policies, and a customer-service mindset reflecting Allied Universal’s values.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry per site procedures, report discrepancies.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
