Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Minooka, IL. This full-time, unarmed position involves patrolling the distribution facility, maintaining a visible presence, assisting employees and visitors, and ensuring site safety and customer service standards.

You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and communicate with site contacts and leadership to uphold Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
