Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Support in Jamaica, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for individuals, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, program participants, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor entry requirements, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Maintain a visible, professional presence that helps support a welcoming environment and helps deter disruptive or unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
