Job Description

As an Unarmed Transit Security Guard, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

• Pay Rate: $23.21 an hour
• Requirements: At least 1+ years of security experience
• Schedule: Overnights, swing / overnight combo
• Location: Denver, Englewood, Northern Denver

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Unarmed Transit Security Guard to join our team, providing security services across the Denver metro area for the RTD transit system. This position offers great experience for anyone interested in law enforcement careers and provides opportunities for advancement. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to deescalate situations, be dependable, and capable of working alone or in a team. Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by implementing safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with environments varying by site.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Subject to background checks as per laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered.
• Must pass a drug screening where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
