Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Train Unarmed in Denver, CO. This full-time role monitors transit facilities, assists passengers, and upholds safety with professionalism.

You will conduct patrols, manage access, and respond to incidents following site-specific procedures. A minimum of one year of security experience and a high school diploma are required; training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and interactions accurately in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist passengers, visitors, and staff with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:45 PM - 12:45 AM
• Thur: 10:45 AM - 06:45 PM
• Fri: 11:14 AM - 07:14 PM
• Sat: 05:15 PM - 01:15 AM
• Sun: 11:30 AM - 07:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
