Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Personnel Screening in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will support access control operations by screening personnel and visitors, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen visitors, contractors, and vendors by verifying identification, confirming authorization, and following established access-control procedures for the location.
• Monitor entry points, visitor management systems, and screening equipment, reporting unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, lobbies, loading areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
