Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access screening procedures.
• Screen individuals and personal items entering the location according to procedures and escalation protocols.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, and access credentials; maintain entry/ screening records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and report concerns.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and personal items entering the technology and media location in accordance with established procedures, using screening equipment and following escalation protocols for prohibited or questionable items.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, and access credentials; maintain accurate entry and screening-related records as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report observed concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Loss Prevention Experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
