Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Site Response in Duncan, SC. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors while patrolling the site, monitoring access points, and responding to alarms to deter incidents.

This full-time role offers a consistent night shift schedule, a pay rate of $14.91 per hour, and opportunities for training and career growth within a caring, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

As a Security Guard Site Response in Duncan, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarms. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment through clear communication and teamwork. What You’ll Do:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
