Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Entrance Operations in Duncan, SC. You will safeguard clients, monitor access, and respond to incidents in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

You will maintain a visible presence, support alarm handling, and provide professional customer service while following post orders and security procedures. This is a full-time night-shift role with a pay rate of $14.91/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles) and eligible for background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision in accordance with post orders.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
