Allied Universal in Joliet, IL is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Perimeter Inspection to protect client locations across Retail/Malls and other venues. You will patrol, deter security incidents, and provide friendly customer service to shoppers and employees.

This role offers flexible part-time schedules, with daytime and evening shifts, and the opportunity to join a nationwide team known for teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

Qualificações

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, visitors, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entry and exit areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly using site-required reporting methods.

What You’ll Do:
