Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and operational zones.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site emergency protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in site records.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $21.65 / Hour

• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and operational zones to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized entry attempts or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site emergency protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
