The Kinetic Group is seeking a Security Guard for the Remington Ammunition site in Arkansas. You will serve as the first point of contact for entrants and regulators, perform rounds, monitor security systems, and act as an emergency coordinator for spills or incidents.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass background checks for explosives access, and certification in First Aid/CPR and HAZMAT within six months.

Aufgaben

• Be the first point of contact for those entering the Remington Ammunition site.
• Direct visitors to destinations and escalate issues per protocol.
• Conduct rounds and compliance inspections under safety and security programs.
• Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and badge readers.
• Act as emergency coordinators and first responders to spills or incidents.
• Watch for spills, leaks, fires, theft and vandalism.
• Check gates; ensure doors are closed/locked as required.
• Respond to accidents and investigate vehicle incidents on site.
• Check badges of employees accessing the plant.
• Conduct random vehicle/employee searches at entry/exit.
• Document infractions such as loitering or trespassing.

Pay Range:

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $23.37

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

Job Description

As the Security Guard, you will have the opportunity to:

• Be the first point of contact for those entering the Remington Ammunition site, including regulatory officials and law enforcement.
• Direct those unfamiliar with the site to their destination, elevate issues by following established protocols.
• Make foot and/or vehicle-assisted rounds, perform various compliance inspections under environmental, safety and security mandated programs.
• Monitor camera's, alarm panels and badge reading equipment.
• Act as emergency coordinators and first responders to significant spills or environmental incidents.
• Watch for spills, leaks, fires, theft and vandalism.
• Check gates to ensure they are closed and/or locked if appropriate.
• First responder to accidents, emergency and/or crisis situations. Investigate vehicle/traffic accidents on site.
• Check badges of employees accessing plant.
• Conduct random searches of vehicles and employees entering and exiting the plant.
• Warns violators and documents any infractions such as loitering, trespassing, smoking in restricted areas, and carrying forbidden articles.

You Have:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Must possess basic mathematics skills
• Must have valid driver's license without restrictions
• Must be able to pass background checks for unsupervised access to explosives (Employee Possessor)
• Must be able to work under stressful conditions
• Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision
• Ability to work alternate work schedules as needed
• Experience in the use and maintenance of physical security systems
• Must be trained in threat response within 90 days of employment
• Must be certified in First Aid/CPR within 6 months of hire
• Must be certified in fire extinguisher use within 90 days of employment
• Must certify as 8-hour HAZMAT responder within six months of employment

You might have:

• Two-year technical diploma in law enforcement or similar
• One year or more of prior security field experience
• Prior law enforcement or military background

Work Environment:

Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.
