Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional security experience preferred.
• Strong observational and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
• Must be comfortable enforcing policies and protocols consistently and respectfully.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid state-issued identification.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the premises to deter theft, monitor behavior, and report suspicious activity.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel and guests enter secure areas.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including basic first aid if required.
• Maintain clear and accurate incident reports, security logs, and shift summaries.
• Enforce company policies and compliance regulations to ensure a safe environment.
• Deliver professional customer service by assisting patients, customers, and employees with information, directions, or support.
• Coordinate with management and local authorities when necessary during incidents or emergencies.
• Support daily operations by helping with crowd control, ID verification, and line management during peak hours.

Pay Range: $16.00 - 19.00/hour

Position Summary:

The Security Guard at Mint Cannabis plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our team members, patients/customers, and retail operations. This position is responsible for monitoring activity on-site, enforcing security policies, and maintaining a welcoming but secure environment for all guests and staff. • High customer traffic with potential for exposure to loud environments, outdoor temperatures, and long periods on foot
• Schedule varies and may include weekends, holidays, and night shifts

Travel Requirements:
