The position supports a commercial building in Queens, NY, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and a schedule including overnight shifts across seven days a week.

The officers will maintain safety and security for tenants and visitors, project a professional presence, and coordinate with building management to ensure a well-managed environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess New York State Security Guard License.
• 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Certificate.
• 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Certificate.
• Prior experience in residential security, corporate security, concierge security, or customer-facing security roles preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations.
• Coordinate with building management and property staff to support daily operations.
• Enforce building policies while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Maintain clear communication during shift transitions to ensure operational continuity.
