Shifts include mornings, evenings, and overnights with both full-time and part-time options. A NY Security Guard License and related training certificates are required, along with strong communication and sound judgment for a residential/commercial environment.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Certificate required.
• 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Certificate required.
• Experience in residential or corporate security or customer-facing security roles preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors.
• Monitor building access points and maintain awareness of building activity.
• Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas of the building.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and building security systems.
• Respond to emergencies and security concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports.
• Assist with package handling and vendor deliveries when required.
• Maintain control and documentation of building and concierge keys.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations.
• Coordinate with building management and property staff to support daily operations.
• Enforce building policies while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Maintain clear communication during shift transitions to ensure operational continuity.
