Job Title: Security Guard

Responsibilities
- Review a logbook at the beginning of each shift for prior activities, updates, and pertinent information.
- Direct and assist authorized visitors, family members, bus drivers, etc., to various locations as required.
- Maintain a daily logbook recording incidents, sick calls, and other activities, and complete all required reports accurately.
- Dispense and retrieve keys, mobile phones, and gas cards to authorized personnel, documenting all transactions.
- Monitor the Siemens Alarm System, respond to bypasses and testing, and place the building on fire watch if needed.
- Escort emergency vehicles and assist as necessary.
- Answer phones, relay information, and contact maintenance or facility management as needed, documenting all actions.
- Conduct periodic building patrols to check for safety and security issues during assigned shifts.
- Transport clients and staff as needed during emergencies or when requested, with all trips logged and documented.
- Search grounds for missing clients and file reports with the police if necessary.
- Act as the Communications Center during emergencies, coordinating with staff and agencies, and ensuring alert procedures are followed.
- Check and log fire extinguishers monthly, and manage refilling and replacement as needed.
- Secure and unlock building doors and offices according to schedule and authorization.
- Enforce parking and traffic regulations, issue citations, and direct vehicle movement during events.
