Job Description

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Response in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with store teams and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and other security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
