Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Patrol Computer Reporting in Ashburn, VA. This full-time, unarmed position requires patrolling school facilities, maintaining visibility to deter incidents, and delivering professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

The role includes documenting incidents, monitoring access points, and following site-specific policies with prompt reporting. Pay is $18.87 per hour, with a daytime schedule Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard Card/license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors and administrators; follow site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, medical situations and critical events per school protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or violations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and share information with site contacts and responders.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public education location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and administrators by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following school location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with established procedures; report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate school personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
