Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Guard in Jacksonville, FL to protect client sites across manufacturing and industrial settings. You will perform unarmed patrols, deter incidents, and respond to alarms while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients via site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify entry, and report unauthorized activity.
• Complete daily activity reports and shift handoff communications.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Part Time Property Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unauthorized activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
