Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, seeks a Part-Time Security Guard at the Visitor Welcome Desk in Orlando, FL. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry, and deliver courteous service to patients, staff, and guests.

The role offers weekend night shifts (Sat-Sun 6:00 PM–6:00 AM) with a pay rate of $15.95 per hour. A guard card and high school diploma are preferred; must be at least 18 for unarmed roles.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor access to the facility from the front desk, verify visitor credentials as required, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Observe front desk and entry-area activity, report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain clear communication with healthcare personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while completing required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
