Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Route Driver in Stone Mountain, GA to provide security services for clients across various industries, including financial institutions. The role offers a flexible schedule via our Shift-claim platform and pays $17.00 per hour.

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will conduct patrols, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and complete logs and reports in a professional, timely manner.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
