Allied Universal in Westlake Village, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard (Unarmed) to patrol retail locations, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required per federal/state/local laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thu 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
