Allied Universal Beverly Hills is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard. You will patrol commercial office spaces, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors. The role focuses on safety, access control, and reporting within a fast-paced environment.

Shifts are part-time with a predictable daytime schedule. Candidates must meet minimum age requirements, have a high school diploma, and be able to pass background and drug screenings in compliance with laws

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law; licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the property to deter incidents and protect tenants and visitors.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control, and report entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents calmly, follow site protocols, and contact emergency services when needed.
• Complete daily activity reports and shift handoffs according to policy.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and property perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
