Allied Universal in Culver City, CA is hiring a part-time Security Guard (Unarmed Patrol, Customer Relations) to serve tenants, visitors, and staff with a calm, professional presence. You will patrol, monitor, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers flexible day/evening shifts, with pay of $21 per hour and benefits aligned with part-time employment. A guard card or license is preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, and report observations through required site procedures.
• Assist with access control, directions, lost-and-found inquiries, and communication with site management and emergency responders as needed.

As a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Relations in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
