Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Claude, TX to monitor and protect a food and beverage location. You will provide welcoming service, deter incidents, report observations, and maintain a visible presence while upholding Allied Universal's values.

Pay rate is $21.00 per hour with weekly pay. Flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform; shifts typically 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM on Wed and Fri.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies; respond to incidents following escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications per site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
