Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Claude, TX. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work across various client sites within Food/Beverage sectors and more through our Claim a Shift platform.

Pay rate is $21.00 per hour with a part-time schedule that includes daytime and weekend shifts. You will be responsible for patrols, access control, incident response, and detailed reporting to site leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform unarmed security duties and follow site-specific procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the food and beverage location, including building exteriors, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, document entries and observations, and report unusual or unauthorized activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
