Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard (Unarmed Patrol) in Atlanta, GA. You will patrol a commercial property, provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site policies and report incidents to management.
• Respond calmly to incidents and follow escalation procedures as needed.
• Document patrols and observations and communicate information to site management.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
