Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Orlando, FL. You will patrol a financial institution, deter incidents, monitor access, and prepare incident reports. A valid driver’s license is required for driving posts, with a shift pattern including Mon and Sat nights.

You must have at least 1 year of security experience, a HS diploma, and be 18 or older (21+ for armed roles). A background check and drug screen are required. Apply via aus.com.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
