As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and neighborhood location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and customers. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while representing Allied Universal professionally.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
