Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe persons entering or leaving the property in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and logs.

As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, help deter security-related incidents, and support badge/access control activities. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
