Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and maintaining accurate activity records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activities through clear and timely reports, and support Allied Universal and site leadership with security‑related information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
