Allied Universal in Los Angeles is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to protect a commercial real estate site. You will patrol, monitor access, and deliver professional customer service to tenants and visitors while upholding site policies and safety procedures.

Join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and flexible scheduling. Prior security or customer service experience is preferred; CPR is a plus and a guard card is welcome.

• Communicate with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders professionally.

As a Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. • Tue 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Wed 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building systems as assigned; document observations, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a professional environment throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
