Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Patrol Driver in Sterling, VA. You will patrol unarmed at a data center, manage access control, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, utility areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures; document access-related activity and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $26.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
