As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will perform patrols, verify access, report incidents, and collaborate with airport personnel to maintain safety.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and airport tenants by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities where appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access or irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, communicating clearly and coordinating with airport personnel and responders.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and observations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and airport tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted and controlled areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide clear communications and coordinate with appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
